Who We Are
A Treasured Moment Events is a mother–daughter nonprofit bringing meaningful, joy-infused celebrations to women and children living in shelters across the GTA and Halton. Having walked similar hallways and lived our own difficult chapters, we know how powerful one unexpected moment of joy can be.
We work in partnership with shelter staff to ensure every experience is safe, appropriate, and meaningful.
Every event is crafted with intention.
Every detail is chosen with love.
Every moment reminds a family that they are seen, supported, and never alone — and that joy still belongs to them.
What began as a simple belief — joy shouldn’t wait for a milestone — has grown into a mission to uplift families through surprise celebrations filled with warmth, care, and connection.

We bring joyful celebrations directly into shelters — because every woman and child deserves to feel seen, valued, and celebrated. These meaningful moments remind families that they matter and that joy still belongs to them.
Community Connection
Through shared celebrations, we help rebuild trust, belonging, and connection — mother to mother, child to child, heart to heart. These experiences gently strengthen emotional support within families and across shelter communities.

Every celebration plants a seed of hope. One moment of joy today becomes a reminder tomorrow that brighter chapters still exist — waiting to unfold. We help families carry hope forward, one moment at a time.

THE JOY SHOP
We’re curating a small collection of joyful, meaningful pieces designed to spark connection, celebrate moments, and help fund surprise celebrations for women and children living in shelters.
Our shop will feature ATM merch alongside one-of-a-kind art created by women and children in shelters — with 100% of proceeds from their handcrafted pieces returning directly to their shelter to spark even more moments of joy.
